What’s the opportunity?
Working alongside the business, and reporting to the General Manager, you will provide vital HR advice and support to managers, and build trusting partnerships and working relationships at all levels.
In this role you will…
- Manage employee relations – provide advice to management and employees, prepare employment contracts, ensure compliance and facilitate resolution of issues
- Lead recruitment and selection activities – manage the process end-to-end in partnership with the managers
- Lead HR driven employee engagement initiatives and ensure a wellbeing focus to reinforce a positive workplace culture
- Manage the performance appraisal process and support managers with remuneration reviews
- Develop and manage the learning and development plan
- Oversee the payroll and timesheet process on a fortnightly basis
What will you bring to the role?
- Prior experience in a generalist role and relevant tertiary qualifications
- Sound knowledge of modern award based remuneration, legislation and preparation of contracts/variations
- Full process recruitment skills from attraction to onboarding
- Expertise in framing and rolling out contemporary performance management and review processes
- Payroll and HRIS management experience
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm to build trusting relationships across the business
